DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Lead Test Technician- Pilot Center to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Pilot Centre Team in Marktheidenfeld, Bayern, Germany.

This role may involve travel as necessary.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :

  • Build, repair, and prepare test objects and auxiliary equipment: Ensure all test objects and equipment are ready and functioning for accurate testing.

  • Carry out associated tests: Conduct tests to gather necessary data and validate equipment performance.

  • Assist in analyzing test data: Help interpret the results to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with performance engineers: Work together to develop and refine measurement techniques for better accuracy and efficiency.

  • Document tests and calibrations: Create detailed reports to record the procedures and results of tests and calibrations.

  • Perform data analysis: Review system decompositions and prepare audit reports to ensure compliance and identify potential issues.

  • Coordinate programs: Plan, schedule, order, and track resources and activities to ensure smooth program execution.

  • Support continuous improvement: Contribute to ongoing efforts to enhance processes, techniques, and equipment performance.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Communicate Effectively: Develop and deliver multi-mode communications that clearly convey an understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.

  • Excel in Data Reporting: Prepare documentation that clearly organizes and presents testing methods, instrument settings, data, and analysis, enabling engineers and customers to understand results and form accurate conclusions and recommendations.

  • Ensure Data Quality: Identify, understand, and correct flaws in data to support effective information governance across operational business processes and decision-making.

  • Flexibility and readiness to undergo necessary training for obtaining the required licences if they are not already held.

Education/Experience:

  • A high school diploma, certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience in an appropriate STEM field. Additionally, a regionally applicable certification or a two-year Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field may be required.

  • An HGV Licence for C + E is desired but not essential. Applicants must be willing to complete this training if the licence is not already obtained. Similarly, a Bus Licence is desired but not essential, with a willingness to complete the training if not already obtained.

  • Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
